Rockaway Beach

The weather at Rockaway was amazing--sunny, warm, and no rain! Very unusual to not have a cloudy day all week. This year was also different because Emily was sober. She got back from 28 days in rehab two weeks before our trip. Lots of growth and work to do, but she's on the right path, and for that, we are grateful to God.

We went to the beach every day--boogie boarding, splashing in the waves, sandcastles, volleyball, paddleball, searching for shells. Kari and Greg went for a run on the beach one morning. All the kids went crabbing at least once during the week. We read, played games, worked on a puzzle, and ate ice cream and other yummy foods.
