The kids will be home with just Greg this weekend, while I head to the beach for a Ladies Get-Away with women from church. The last couple weeks I've started wondering what I was thinking going on a "retreat" while 8 months pregnant...but everythings all set, so no turning back now.
I'm looking forward to it but with some apprehension about leaving the kids for two days. (A month ago we left them overnight with Grandpa and Grandma for the first time since Joel was born.) They'll be in good hands, of course. Daddy is very capable of handling everything alone, especially with Joel's ears on the mend, but there's still just a little anxiety. I think I'm going to miss them--probably more than they'll miss me!
