"Arctic Blast"

Are we in Alaska? We actually have snow drifts at our house.

We had to laugh as we watched the local news (on every channel) this evening. This guy was our favorite. He just measured a wind gust of 62 mph as snow and ice pelted him in the face. We're "hunkered down" (how many times have they used that phrase?) in our home, waiting to see if they're going to let us watch "Elf," but it appears that they're not taking a break anytime soon. Bummer.

My favorite interview so far was with the guy at the Max, "So how many people have gotten on and how many people have gotten off the train?"
That is SOOOOO interesting...

Anyways, have a cozy day tomorrow and maybe they will replay Elf once the Arctic blast is old news.

Oh my goodness, we were bummed out about Elf being taken over by the DEEP FREEZE (did you see that they renamed it?) too....
Lame.

I must say, that is QUITE impressive for Portland snow! I hope it lasts til Christmas, that would be fun. We've got more snow --- the whitest, coldest Christmas in a long while, which is nice. But it's stinkin cold here --- like below zero --- I personally think that should be illegal. :-)
