Part 4, Snow, Snow, Snow

The snow is old news around here, but for those not in Oregon, it snowed quite a bit Sunday and hasn't gone away. The temperature's been in the 20's for the last couple days. That's cold for us! Uncle Brian came over Sunday afternoon and played in the snow with the kids. They loved it. Greg was not feeling well, but he went out, too. We only get snow once or twice a year, if we're lucky. (He's finally feeling better, by the way--been sick for the last couple weeks. Antibiotics did the trick.) The last photo (bottom right) was Monday morning, sunny but frigid. Kari and Joel were thrilled when they woke up and saw none of the snow had melted. We're supposed to get a couple/few more inches tomorrow, which they'll be happy about, but it may mean no preschool for Kari on Thursday and Friday. She will not be happy about that. She's been looking forward to pajama day, making gingerbread houses, and the Christmas party in her class this week. We'll see if the weather people are correct in their predictions.
