Other May Happenings

May was a bit of a whirlwind. We went from having very little on our calendar to having a lot more in April, and then a ton in May. All us parents felt the whiplash a bit and had to reacclimate to busy schedules again. Family dinners only happened once or twice a week, rather than every day, like it has been for the last year-plus. But we were thankful, thankful that life was starting to return to normal.

We had our first deck dinner of the season this month. We still love our deck and are so glad we were able to get it done last year. The price of lumber has tripled since last year when we were having it built. We anticipate enjoying many dinners and evenings out on our deck this summer.
