Greg made it home safely last night. Joel was already asleep. Kari was in bed but still awake and was very excited to see her Daddy, even more excited when he told her he brought her a treat from Kentucky (second photo). It took her a while to go to sleep last night. Sure is nice to have him back.

I'm so glad that your family is back together again. It isn't easy parenting alone. Next time he goes, we should get together to let the kids play!

I think I must just be missing something, but I looked at the second picture and still couldn't figure out what the present from Kentucky was.
No, you're not missing anything. :) The second picture should have had the treats in it. He didn't give her the treats (different candies) until the next day. It was just the mere mention of a treat that brought that grin to her face.
