This last weekend Aubrey discovered a new use for the doll cradle my Grandpa made me when I was little and that now my girls get to use. It's become her evening lounger. (Good thing you made it nice and sturdy, Grandpa!)
She brought her baby in with her the next night.I'm not exactly sure what she was doing with the marker, but she never tried to take the lid off (and it's washable), so we let her keep it.

Oh, sigh. I just got out my same doll cradle and put it in my bedroom --- it's the only girlie place I felt it was appropriate in my house over-run with boys. Aubrey is just too cute!
Can Aubrey teach Jack not to take off marker lids? He actually bit the tip off a black marker this morning, and then proceeded to spit it out on the table. I guess that's better than swallowing it. I keep trying to tell him that "non-toxic" does not equal "edible." Maybe someday he will learn.
