Aubrey has been having "lasts" all year long, but this is last of the lasts for her high school career. She made her last lunch before her last day of school, which consisted of grad walks through Barlow and the feeder elementary and middle schools, followed by the senior picnic at a park. The grad walk is one of my favorite traditions. I love cheering for the grads as they walk through the Barlow halls for the last time, waving and giving high fives and hugs.
Aubrey was like a rockstar at the elementary schools where she did her cadet teaching. The video of her getting mobbed by little kids in the hall was so sweet! Everyone else had already walked through, and Aubrey was still getting notes and hugs. Her mentor teacher this spring, Mrs. Meyer, made it so special for her.
