Aubrey had the late graduation (8:30pm start time), but it was the shortest one I've been to yet! It's fun to be downstairs with them all before the ceremony. Aubrey's cap "bedazzling" took her several hours, but she was happy with how it turned out (a nod to High School Musical 3). We are so proud of her, all her hard work, her honors, and the young woman she has become. She is now a Sam Barlow grad!
Grant wasn't in our family photos because he was in the band. He got moved to Symphonic Band for next year, which meant he played at graduation and had to ride the bus, but he was there! We were some of the last to leave the Coliseum, as Aubrey wanted a photo with each of her friends, and then they were formulating a plan for afterwards. I believe they ended up going to Dave's Hot Chicken. The all night party was the night of their last day of school instead of after graduation this year. It worked out just fine!
