Had to convince Kari that going to her baccalaureate was a good thing to do (first born child issue). It was good, and then we went to the Rasmussen's house for a senior dessert celebration with the youth group leaders. I was unprepared for all the emotions that night brought! The youth leaders shared letters they had written to the seniors and then others also spoke words of encouragement to each senior in the "hot seat." It was a powerful evening. These people have poured into our kids for years and have had a huge impact on them. We are so grateful! Our church and this youth group is a huge blessing to our family.
