Tree fetching

Can you believe we got a tree for $10? We went to a different place this year not far from home that had a very quaint, country feel to it. We were the only ones there, and it was great. Only one kind of tree (Grand), but it's a kind we like, and you can't beat that price!

Johanson's is the name of the place we went. There's a cute little shed with saws, flags to help you remember which trees you like, and kneeling boards inside. There is a coffee can outside to put your money in to pay. From Orient heading east, take a left on Compton and another left at the end of the road. Take a right and follow the signs. They don't advertise much. The elderly gentleman we talked to said they prefer word of mouth. He also said you can cut the tree wherever you want, at the base, 6ft up... Happy tree hunting!
Oh, and I have to add that Mark and Shari found it first last year. :)

Wow, $10 is amazing --- such beautiful Oregon trees! (And, we have matching rain boots. :-) Great minds think alike.)

PS - I love the last photo of Grant! He looks so sweet and kissable! And his hat is simply adorable!
