We said good-bye to the
little pool this weekend (it served us well these past 4 summers, but it is now time for it to retire) and put away all the summer toys

. Greg and the big kids worked outside this weekend, organizing the shed and preparing for the next season. I love fall and all that comes with it--crisp cool weather, pumpkins, apples, changing leaves, soup, and cozy evenings at home.
It's difficult to get photos of Joel smiling and not giving me his "cheeeese" face. I love this one of him and Kari. They were having fun yesterday.

Never mind the fact that I had to talk about
"toots" to get him to smile and laugh. Little kid humor, you know.

Aubrey's feeling better--still working on those teeth. She started saying "da-da" this weekend, not in reference to her father, but that's ok. It's a start, and it's really cute to hear her little voice.

This one made me laugh, particularly his facial expression. Joel's run is great. He really gets his arms pumping. :)
