We went to the zoo today and Grandma kindly came with us. It was beautiful and sunny but a little chilly outside early this morning. I don't think the mittens were completely necessary, but she had fun wearing them.
Looking at the elephants. Kari thought they were pretty interesting. I think that was the longest we stayed at one exhibit. All day she kept asking if the animals were all in their cages. She was just a little concerned.

Love the zoo on $2 tuesday! I'm glad that Kari could enjoy all the animals knowing that they were in cages. That was too cute!
