It was time to make more laundry soap, and Kari wanted to help. (I don't know how many years I've been doing this, but it's been a long time. I love that we can do laundry for pennies per load.) She greatly enjoyed mixing it up the next day after it had gelled.
I also enlisted her help with Joel's room. Things tend to accumulate in his room. He does not enjoy sorting and organizing, but Kari does! She helped him organize and get rid of some stuff, too. He will probably need her to do it again before she leaves for school in the fall. :)
