Gingerbread

The kids did an excellent job on their houses this year, and I did a better job with my royal icing. The candies stayed put this time and didn't go sliding down the walls. We strategically worked on them while Grant napped. The kids were so proud of their work. I enjoyed doing it with them. It made all the prep work worth it to see them having so much fun. The kids loved wearing their snowman aprons from Great Grandma Arnold, too. We're carrying on your tradition from afar, Grandma!
