Grant hasn't played a game of water polo since last fall and just started going back to practice at Blue Crush now that tennis is over. He did swim during the winter season, so at least it hasn't been that long since he was in the pool. He had a tournament in Salem this weekend, and his team lost every game. It was a Masters Open tournament, which meant that anyone of any age could play. They were playing against grown men, some of them as old as 45! Grant didn't seem to mind the losses, but some members of his team seemed pretty disheartened. We're looking forward to his JO team being back together again soon and having some cohesiveness and possibly some wins.
Greg and I went to a unique coffee shop in between games when they had a longer break in the morning. Grant wanted to hang back at the pool with the guys, so we ventured out. It was an odd little place!
