New-To-Us Car

"The Blueberry" (aka. our 2003 Honda Civic--the car we bought new before Kari was born) gave up the ghost back in March, but with Greg's trip to Europe, tennis, and Kari's graduation, we didn't have time to look for another car. Kari and Joel came back with the 2013 Civic, and we managed with 4 cars for a bit and borrowed Mom and Dad's other car for a bit until Greg could go car shopping. Mid-May, he came home with this white 2014 Honda CRV. I'm refusing to drive it. I'm just a little bitter that I am still driving our big minivan. It's the car Kari is driving, and she really likes it. Greg pointed out that I could drive it, but I can't make my 22 year old daughter drive the minivan! It just feels silly when I'm driving around in it all by myself. There are only a few times a year that we need that much space, but it sure is nice to have it when we do need it (driving to tennis tournaments, driving to water polo tournaments, going to the beach). Plus, this car is paid for. Someday I will have a newer car to drive. And someday we will not have constant car issues! We are keeping Kosrow Automotive busy with our five old, used vehicles.
