More Snow and Ice

I was subbing at East Orient when it started snowing again the Wednesday afternoon before Christmas break. It made for an exciting and chaotic end of the day when the buses had to put chains on in the parking lot, and the bus kids had to wait in the covered area for 45 minutes while the snow storm blew in. We eventually made it home, driving very slowly and carefully, and then the kids went out to play in the snow. We were outside until after dark, sledding down the hill and hanging out with neighborhood friends.

The snow stuck this time, so Christmas Break started two days early for us!
