We’re heading home after a wonderful weekend with family in Sunriver—bike riding, games, geo-caching, karaoke, cousin time, and lots of laughter. My heart is full and thankful for this time God gave us together and that Greg was able to join in the fun, too. He finished the first round of chemo, and it was pretty rough by the end. Turns out, chemo is nasty stuff no matter what form it takes. This last week was his “off” week of recovery, and at the beginning of the week, we weren’t sure he’d be feeling well enough to do anything, but God was gracious and allowed the effects to subside enough for him to be able to do most of what he wanted to do this weekend. It was so good to see him having fun and laughing with his family. You could pray for us as he starts his next round tomorrow. Driving back home feels like driving back to the heavy, hard stuff. This weekend was a true gift! Thank you,
Mark Shari Moffat
, for making it happen!
