In Canada we tried Ketchup chips--half of us liked them, half didn't care for them.
In the United Kingdom we had fish 'n chips and Victoria sponge. All liked the cake and were surprised when they liked the battered fish, too.
In France we sampled many delicious pastries--baguette, macaroons, eclair, chocolate croissant, and a creme-filled pastry--all so yummy. After our afternoon rest time (and my urgent care visit), Joel and Kari got sandwiches in France. We visited France twice. :-)
In Morocco, we tried pita bread, hummus, a Moroccan salad, and baklava (the honey one was better than the pistachio).
In Japan we all had shave-ice--a nice, cool treat on a very hot day.
In the United States, we shared a big chocolate chip cookie, and Greg got an iced coffee.
In Italy, we shared gelato. Delicious.
In Germany we visited the caramel shop and bought the best caramel popcorn to eat during firework and also tried a caramel s'more. Yum.
In China we tried egg rolls and pot-stickers. At this point, we were all getting full.
In Norway we tried "school bread." It was heavy on cardamom, which the kids and Greg were not a fan. It wasn't my favorite, but I liked it ok.
By the time we got to Mexico, the last nation, we were too full to eat anything else, so we went for drinks. Margarita for us, mango Mexican soda for the kids--refreshing!
Other highlights of the day were Test Track, Soaring (did that one twice), and Mission Space, which had some crazy G-force. We stayed for the fireworks show, Illuminations, and then headed back to our hotel. It was a great day!
